Filming Locations in Adams Morgan | Washington D.C. TV & Movie Tours | DC Filming Locations & DC Sightseeing ToursAdams Morgan is a culturally diverse neighborhood in Northwest Washington, D.C., centered at the intersection of 18th Street and Columbia Road. The neighborhood is a major night life area with many bars and restaurants, particularly along 18th Street (the primary commercial district) and Columbia Avenue.  If you are out for a walk in the pleasant neighborhood, don’t be surprised to see some famous people and politicians who live in the area.

Will Smith's daring run across rooftops in Enemy of the State was filmed atop several Adams Morgan buildings.  You may also recognize the Omni Shoreham Hotel, where Lieutenant Commander Tom Farrell (Kevin Costner) attended a gala and met Susan Atwell (Sean Young) in No Way Out, and which served as a temporary hiding place for Gray Grantham (Denzel Washington) and Darby Shaw (Julia Roberts) in The Pelican Brief.

The building at 1609 Sixteenth Street served as home to Professor Jacob Barnhardt in the original The Day the Earth Stood Still.

In the summer of 2009, Jack Nicholson, Owen Wilson, Reese Witherspoon, and Paul Rudd descended upon Adams Morgan for the filming of an untitled James L. Brooks Project (possibly titled How Do You Know?)

On the Washington D.C. TV & Movie Sites Tour, you’ll take a ride through this fun D.C. neighborhood, but you may want to return in the evening to check out Adams Morgan nightlife!
